Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2, 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of ClassPulse, the studio management platform available at classpulse.pro, including the studio admin dashboard, the parent portal, and our mobile apps (together, the “Service”).
1. Agreement to these Terms
The Service is operated by ClassPulse (“ClassPulse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), founded by Brad Crump and based in the Madison, Wisconsin area. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a studio or other business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business, and “you” refers to the business.
2. The Service
ClassPulse lets activity studios manage classes, scheduling, enrollment, billing, attendance, and communication, and lets parents register and pay through a parent portal and mobile apps. Studios (“Studios”) use the Service to run their businesses; parents and guardians (“Families”) use it to enroll in and pay for a Studio's classes. Each Studio's relationship with its Families — including class offerings, pricing, and refund policies — is between the Studio and the Family.
3. Accounts and responsibilities
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication, which the Service supports. Notify us promptly at hello@classpulse.pro if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Studios are responsible for the accuracy of the information they enter about their business and their Families, for obtaining any consents required to enter that information, and for managing the roles and access they grant to their staff.
4. Plans, subscription fees, and billing
ClassPulse offers a Free plan for studios with up to 50 students — genuinely free, not a trial — and paid plans: Starter at $49/month (up to 100 students), Growth at $99/month (up to 500 students), Pro at $199/month (up to 2,000 students), and Enterprise with custom pricing. Paid plans include a 14-day free trial. All plans are month-to-month with no contracts, and you can cancel at any time.
In addition to subscription fees, all payment processing through the platform carries card processing fees at Stripe's standard processing rate plus a 0.75% ClassPulse platform fee, deducted per transaction. These processing fees apply to payments a Studio collects from its Families through the Service.
We may change plan pricing or features with advance notice; changes take effect at the start of a subsequent billing period, and you may cancel before they apply.
5. Payment processing and Stripe Connect
Payments on the Service are processed by Stripe. Each Studio operates its own Stripe connected account and is the merchant of record for tuition and other charges to its Families. To accept payments, a Studio must complete Stripe's onboarding and agree to Stripe's applicable terms. Payouts flow directly from Stripe to the Studio's own account; ClassPulse does not hold Studio funds.
Families' card details are entered directly into Stripe-hosted fields. ClassPulse never stores or transmits full card numbers.
6. Refunds and cancellation
Refunds of tuition or other Studio charges are a matter between the Family and the Studio, governed by the Studio's own refund policy. Families should contact their Studio directly; Studios can issue refunds through the Service.
For ClassPulse subscription fees: we do not provide partial-month refunds. Cancelling your subscription stops renewal at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access to the Service until then.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to store or transmit unlawful content, infringe others' rights, interfere with or disrupt the Service, attempt to access data belonging to another Studio or account, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
You may not abuse the Service's messaging features. Email and SMS tools are for communication with your own Families about your studio's business — not for spam. For SMS in particular, each Studio is responsible for the compliance of its own messages, including obtaining recipient opt-in and honoring opt-outs as required by applicable law such as the TCPA. ClassPulse provides opt-in tooling to help, but compliance responsibility for a Studio's messages rests with the Studio.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, consistent with Section 12.
8. Your data and ownership
Your Studio owns its data. You can export it as CSV from the reporting section at any time, and on cancellation you can export before the account is closed. Deletion requests are honored via email to hello@classpulse.pro. You grant ClassPulse the limited rights needed to host, process, and back up your data in order to provide the Service. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Availability and maintenance
We use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, but we do not offer an uptime service level agreement. The Service may be unavailable during scheduled maintenance, which we aim to perform at low-traffic times, or due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClassPulse disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClassPulse will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data, arising out of or related to the Service. Our total liability for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service is capped at the fees you paid to ClassPulse in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay fees when due, or use the Service in a way that risks harm to other users or the platform — where practical, we will give you notice and a chance to cure first. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; Sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 8, 10, 11, and 13) survive termination.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wisconsin, and each party consents to their jurisdiction.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and give you notice through the platform or by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
