ClassPulse is built by Brad Crump, a technologist with 30+ years in IT and the founder of Crump Tech, a managed IT services company serving businesses in the Madison, Wisconsin area. Brad has spent his career being the person businesses call when their technology has to just work — and ClassPulse is that same standard applied to studio software.
That matters when you're trusting a platform with your schedule, your billing, and your families' information. This isn't a side project from a growth team chasing a market — it's software from someone whose entire professional reputation is built on keeping other businesses' systems running.
Why we built this
Working with activity businesses on the IT side means seeing the same problems over and over. The owner up at 11pm untangling a billing error their software created. The studio that signed up for a legacy platform and spent weeks in onboarding calls before they could publish a schedule. The parents fighting a portal that looks and behaves like it was built in 2010 — because it was.
The incumbents in this space work, mostly. But they're slow, they're clunky, they charge for every add-on, and they treat onboarding as a professional-services engagement instead of a sign-up form.
ClassPulse is what happens when you start from scratch with modern technology and a simple question: what would studio software look like if it were built today — by someone who already spends every day keeping businesses' technology running?
